Writing Through Earth
Welcome here, friend. And thank you for choosing to Write.
I am honoured by the presence of incredible people who choose to take my trainings and the wonderful works they produce.
For a sampler of what they produced, see here.
Writing Through Earth -- The Lightweaver Way
This program was previously known as Lightweaver Writing Masterclass. I changed it after feedback from a participant:
“Bhavana, in my opinion, “Writing Masterclass” – the name doesn’t justify what it delivers or rather how it revolutionizes me internally. I can’t think of a better term, but this is beyond writing, beyond mastering beyond tips & tricks, beyond grammar and vocabulary and beyond anything I have ever attended.” – Ramesh Manickavel
The feedback alerted me to the fact that I had designed the course to decolonize mind from the colonial rules around language and grammar and what constitutes good writing, a way by which the Master continues to control the subjects.
The course had been influenced by Chicana Scholar-Activists like Gloria Anzaldua and Cherri Morarga and my own decolonizing impetus that has governed my research in the first decade of this century.
How can I teach a class that is called a “Masterclass”!
If anything, this course Unmasters you from the usual structures of demands and expectations, Unmasters the field of expression and frees your creativity, Unmasters art from its colonial heritage and returns it to the caves.
This is an Earth program that returns you towards the Earth Household – Ecos. The training structure is built around Black Permaculture practices and inspired by the techniques of Masanobu Kukuoka. In a sense you will learn writing, liberate your creativity, as well as unconsciously bring attention to various of parts of life that hold you back from being in this world.
This program is now housed under a larger Earth project called as the Octopus Project under the Earth Oikos Training Program. To find out more about that project, please click here.
